A solemn day for my family doctor/friend Ami Madamba...

My placid world was shattered by a horrifying news that my family doctor/friend was murdered in a peaceful city of Dumaguete! How can such a terrible thing happen???? It must be a mistake!!!! He was such a calm, generous and friendly man! How can anyone want to see him dead? So many whys flows in my head....

We were not that close Ami and I; we exchanged Christmas cards sporadically but, still!!!! I remember him among my 4 medicine-specialist during my caesarian-sectio at the Holy Child Hospital in Dumaguete City. Baby Emmy was born stressed due to my small pelvic bones and long labor. Thanks goodness to Dr. Madamba's proficiencies, my baby survive without any trace or damage from that dramatic experience. He was our pediatrician during our years in Dumaguete. I indulged in memories how he told me about his 2 nieces that he loves so dearly......
