Wow, still thousands of people reading my blog although I have been hibernated from updating my page due to a hectic schedule with work and trips.

Sta. Fe Resort, Starbucks, Casino Filipino, Saltimboca, Rooftop Karaoke Bar, SM Mall, Robinson Mall, B&B in Alijis, La Granja, Lakawon Beach Resort;

Everything sounds just very exotic, right? It's exotic indeed! Three weeks of bountiful joy, laughter, singing, dancing, eating, sleeping and not the least, happy bonding with friends and relatives are spent in this lovable city of Bacolod in Negros Occidental,Philippines.

A scary incident we also experienced during an aborted take-off due to bird strike with Cebu Pacific aircraft and we realized how lucky we've been to escape from such a misadventure. It was only seconds from a horrifying disaster! God is really good to us....

From a hectic and stressful day, me and my 3 friends stayed at the Manila Hotel and enjoyed the night with music and good food. It feels good to be back to this luxurious, friendly, and historical place and I could relax and feel at home in this environment.

City of Oskarshamn, Sweden

Some people might raise their eyebrows and think, where in the world is that? Okay, if you haven't been to Oskarshamn and not been able to conclude by googling yet, I can cast light upon showing some pictures to intensify you curiosity regarding this city.

Me, my husband and two daughters arrived in Oskarshamn one warm, sunny but somewhat sleepy city on May 1996. (Oh my gosh, almost thirteen years way back! I must claim that it's the longest period I have lived with the same place in my whole life....)!!!! So now, I have the proof that I'm no nomad woman no more! He-he.... Seriously speaking, after 3 years in Örebro, Sweden; followed by 3 years in Dumaguete City, Philippines and the next city for 5 years was Caldas da Rainha, Portugal and lastly but not the least, (I hope...) Oskarshamn!!! How we landed here inasmuch as my husband and I decided to bring-up our two children in a Swedish ambience and culture.

We had a pleasurable time in Portugal and made a lot of friends that even now I am still communicating with, but for those who have the same experience as we do, possibly could comprehend why we hurried to comeback to Sweden. It was fantastic that our daughters could switch into 3 languages automatically and for our part as parents were fabulous; we can speak Portugues fluently but we somehow feel that resource shortage could strike us linguistically speaking at any moment. Instinctively, we are right! Imagine, all those homework quiz Olle and I helped our daughters alternately; ( to be fair enough, it was Olle who did especially when it comes to Math, Chemistry and Physics)! PHEWW!!

This month, Oskarshamn have been a busy center of all nuclear power plant experts. An inventive entrepreneur even send a huge and magnific ferry as a floating hotel to all worldwide visitor workers.

So far, global crisis has not reach our little "duckpond" yet! I really hope we can get away from it!!! We are looking forward for an exciting, inspiring, lively and pleasant Oskarshamn this spring to come!!!!
